Time for one more playthrough! After beating the game at both maximum and minimal power, it is time to go fast and beat it in under three hours with however many upgrades you want to collect. The game is definitely a tough cookie with only the starting 5 HP and SP, but just take your time and persevere.ĭuring this step you’ll earn these trophies: Keep in mind that besides the “small” HP upgrades you are also NOT allowed to pick up the “full” HP upgrades that some bosses leave behind, so be sure to not accidently pick them up out of euphoria or something. Now that you have completed the game once and know all there is to know about the game it is time to start another – and probably the hardest – playthrough: a no upgrade run. But make no mistake: This game is HARD – even if you have collected all upgrades – and it will probably take you a few tries between checkpoints before you can progress, especially in the later chapters. Take your time and familiarize yourself with the controls and the layout of the areas and enemies, as this will immensely during your next playthrough(s). In this step we are getting most of the trophies out of the way. Step 1: Beat the game while collecting all the HP and SP upgrades and collecting most of the missable trophies Hurry before you run out of time! The road to redemption awaits in Cyber Shadow, the quintessential Ninja Action game. How far will Shadow go to protect his clan and the one he loves? Is there more to their bond than meets the eye? A desperate plea for help sets Shadow, the sole survivor of his clan, on one last mission to uncover what started the path to perpetual ruin. The world has been taken over by the evil Dr. Welcome to the Cyber Shadow Trophy Guide! Cyber Shadow is due out for the Switch on January 26, and is due out for PC, XB1, and PS4 as well, though neither Yacht Club or Mechanical Head have officially confirmed yet if those versions will share the January release date as well.Playthrough: 2, but 3 are recommended Introduction: Yes, by using any of the official Shovel Knight amiibo figures, you can gain little Shovel Knight, Plague Knight, Specter Knight, and King Knight helpers (depending on the figure, naturally) to assist you in-game. A little additional gameplay showcase (starting around 7:05 in case the timestamp doesn’t work) shows that the Switch version of the game will actually have amiibo support. And while the new clip does show off some terrific NES-style side-scrolling action as you tackle massive bosses with a variety of ninja skills, and even ride a sweet motorcycle at one point, an even more notable feature was shown in the rest of Indie World. The date came as part of a new trailer, which you can check out below. But 2020 is about to thankfully be behind us, and wouldn’t you know it, today’s Indie World presentation from Nintendo revealed that Cyber Shadow is already set to help kick off 2021 with a bang, as a release date was finally revealed. But as you can tell, it has clearly been delayed due to…well, the rest of 2020 happening (okay, developer Mechanical Head stated that it was due some more time needed for extra polish and finishing touches, but at this point, who would be surprised). Yacht Club Games’ first foray into publishing, Cyber Shadow, was originally set for a Fall 2020 release back in February of 2020.
